A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.

The host keeps normal server-log details such as an IP address, browser type, page requests, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain the service and understand broad page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
That information supports operation, error correction, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.

Links may lead to county or state portals, library collections, archives, or outside search tools. The policy of that destination governs information submitted there. Sponsored search results are likewise supplied by another company.

Hosting and support providers process logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure also may occur when valid legal process requires it.
Data Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes stated above. Because no visitor accounts exist, this site does not maintain a visitor password or profile.

This reference is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be deleted.
